| Bicycles can be hired at Balatonboglar and most other Balaton lakeside resorts. There are over 200 kms of cycle routes
around the lake. These are all on quiet backroads and
designated cycle paths along the lakeside. Away from the
lakeside, there are quiet roads through little villages and gently
rolling countryside. A couple of miles outside Balatonboglar
are the hills of Kishegy (Little Mountain). These hills are
covered with oak forests and here mountain bikers can enjoy the many forest
routes above the vineyards of Balatonboglar, Szoloskislak and
Szolosgyorok.
